CEE 311 Environmental Engineering I

This course is designed as an introduction to environmental engineering. The course focuses on fundamentals of environmental engineering such as material and energy balances, applied chemistry and ecosystems. It also covers aspects of the water and wastewater environments including principles, applications, and design concepts pertinent to water and wastewater quality and pollution, drinking water treatment and wastewater treatment.

Sustainable Civil and Environmental Engineering

This course is designed as an introduction to core environmental engineering concepts. Upon completion of the course, civil engineering students will be able use material and energy balances to solve civil engineering analysis and design problems pertaining to: Sustainable Engineering, Risk Assessment, Groundwater Hydrology, Air Pollution, Solid Waste Management, and Hazardous Waste Management.

Sustainable CEE Assignment

In her Sustainable Engineering course, Dr. Kauser Jahan consistently uses inclusive pedagogy to increase awareness of global and local issues which culminated in a group project.
