The Manvich Lab

Welcome to the Manvich Lab!

Our research program is broadly focused on better understanding the neurobiological mechanisms that drive psychostimulant and/or opioid use and relapse. We combine unique and cutting-edge experimental methods, drawn from the disciplines of behavioral pharmacology and behavioral neuroscience, to measure and manipulate neural circuit function and behavior. Ultimately, our goals are two-fold: 1) to identify novel biobehavioral markers of relapse vulnerability, and 2)  to discover novel pharmacological targets that may lead to improved treatments for Substance Use Disorders.
