Veterinary Clinical Review Committee (VCRC)
The Veterinary Clinical Review Committee (VCRC) of Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine (SSVM) provides ethical and animal welfare oversight for veterinary clinical research and teaching protocols involving privately owned or unowned animals and conducted by SSVM faculty, staff, and investigators. The VCRC safeguards the safety and welfare of participating animals and ensures that appropriate informed consent is obtained. The Committee reviews each protocol and determines whether it meets the standards required for approval.
